[doesn't quite flinch at the laugh, but he does lose the smile. ducking behind the pillow]

Certainly you're smaller and cuter like this, and I'll miss it when you're back to normal. But you make me happy no matter what size you are.

It's a bit like that. And in this state you seem less... tightly controlled, I suppose. I'm getting to see more of those things you do that are charming or just very like you. It makes me happy to see them. So, I laugh.

It's not that I like you better like this than when you're normal. It's that I'm getting to see more of you.
