Bad taste is really somewhat of an understatement, though. Considering that one of the people I was closest to back home tried to kill and-or maim me on at least... hmm. Three separate occasions?
[having the advantage of being the stronger one helped keep the numbers down]
...ah. I'm not sure how to put it...
He was mad, essentially. He was a- a construct, and his makers... I don't even know how to describe what they did to him, but it was unbelievable cruelty for the pettiest of reasons, and it resulted in his mind snapping. He ended up taking interest in me due to our situations being somewhat similar, and then interest in my father because he offered to fix him.
[...he actually looks mildly stunned in response. because as much as he's had it hammered in enough to accept that people here didn't share his opinions on his appearance, as much as he's done his best not to second guess Roy agreeing to this, that's still actual, tangible proof of Roy's interest. he did that.
[ just... gonna slip over there and see if he'll be allowed close enough to do exactly that, careful to be obvious in his movements and keep his body language nonthreatening
depending on what Sanajeh can sense or smell (or is paying attention to, considering the situation), he both pings and smells very similar to the way a tree rotted nearly back into dirt would ]
[ that gets him graveyard dirt, ozone, and something coppery that might be blood or metal or both. overall it's a very "fertile and waiting for new growth" sort of smell, and there's no human at all in the mix except in what other people have left behind on him. ]
...Don't bite me, please? I doubt I'm at all palatable.
[ look, he's more familiar with cat and dog body language than snake ]

DAY 153
The former. Either what I provided is used, or they've already unsheathed theirs, so to speak. I tend to inspire that type of reaction.
Re: DAY 153
Really? Perhaps because of your size, they think to know what to expect of you!
[ seems... amused... ]

I was wondering myself... it wouldn't be the first time someone's shifted everyone around as a prank.
